Today, I had my colour consult and received the contracts while I was there.
I went into the GJ Gardner Office over the weekend to get an idea of what colours I might like to use. I was given their board of samples for tiles and the book of carpet samples to take home over the weekend and think about what colours I might like. I also grabbed a handful of laminex and colourbond samples.
I chose to go with a dark grey carpet and a white coloured tile. unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures of either of these.
My other colour choices are below:
External:
- Brick: Jarrah
- Roof: Windspray
- Gutters: Monument
Internal:
- Walls: 1/2 Musk
- Kitchen Cabinetry: Swish Pear Natural
- Kitchen Benchtop: Black Marble Diamond Gloss
- Bathroom/Ensuite Vanity: Swiss Pear Natural
- Bathroom/Ensuite Vanity Top: White Valencia Diamond Gloss
Now I need to have a good read through the contract and then sign and return both copies for the builder to sign. I will then receive my copy of the contract back for me to take to the broker to apply for the loan.
Once I receive finance approval the purchase orders will be sent out and construction should begin about 2 weeks after. Its getting closer to there being some action at the block. : )
