I finally got some time today after work to go to GJ Gardner and ask about the few modifications I had thought of including the alfresco.
Once again any changes I requested they were happy to make. Things I changed during this visit include:
- Including alfresco in the roofline
- Increase fridge cavity to 1000mm (from 900mm)
- Moved hot water solar panel location to be more efficient
- Added a TV point to the Master Bedroom
Once again the salesman has to send the modifications off to the estimator to get a final price. As long as the extra roof for the alfresco does not cost too much more than it would cost to put a colorbond patio I will probably go with it as it will be built into the roofline and look better than something added as an after thought
I think I have basically decided I will be building this house. I have been able to modify what I didn’t like about the plan and I like the standard inclusions of GJ Gardner.
