Last Thursday, I had the handover for the house. We went through the house and checked off the things that were picked up in the last inspection. I was given the keys, a handover kit that included all the manuals for appliances and an esky with some gifts in it for building with GJ Gardner.
After I had finished work for the day I went home and loaded my car up with a load of stuff and took it over and put it in the Garage.
Over the weekend I spent a lot of time over in the new house. I installed the dishwasher and the washing machine. I also put together the table and chairs that I bought from Fantastic Furniture. I started putting things in the Kitchen cupboards. I also started to put up curtains.

While I was there I thought I would try the central heating. When I turned it on nothing happened. Today I spoke to the person who installed the central heater and he met me at lunchtime at the house. It appears the Gas line leading to the heating unit is blocked. I will find out tomorrow when the plumber can come out and have a look.
